Whether you are a winner or loser you can always change the loser into a winner

Successful people are winners in our society. But what are the factors that make them so different from others? I have pondered about this question for a while and I found that there are some striking differences between winners and losers. Winners operate in a totally different frame of mind compared to losers and that is why they always got the results that losers dream of. So read on for the list of 33 differences between winners and losers.

Striking Differences Between Winners and Losers

8Winners face their fear, accept it and take the leap.Losers dwell in their fear.
9Winners constantly expand their comfort zone.Losers stay in their comfort zone.
10Winners take action consistently.Losers refrain from taking action and lack consistency.
11Winners take failure in their stride and learn from them.Losers fear failure and avoid them at all cost.
12Winners try different strategies when they are not getting the results they want.Losers do the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

31Winners spend money in seminars and classes to improve themselves.Losers think that spending money on seminars and classes is a waste of money and they prefer to buy toys that gives them instant gratification.
32Winners help others to win.Losers refuse to help and think only about their own benefit.
33Winners find like minded people like themselves that can bring them to greater height.Losers find like minded people like themselves that will drag them to failure.

Parting Words

Winners and losers are largely differentiated by their way of thinking. It means that if your thinking tend to be nearer to the Losers approach, it is possible for you to shift yourself back to the Winners way of thinking. All you need is to be 100% honest with yourself, admit that some part of your life needs to be change and work on it.
So which side are you on?

still here

I am still here I haven't done anything all week it was a rough week. One person out and new person training at work so I was a little tired when i got home and didn't really feel like doing anything. I am back and will hope to finish this robe can you believe a 10 minute robe is taking me 2 wks to finish. I am still knitting my scarf my son sat on my needles and twisted the yarn we he tried to fix it he loosen some of my stitches so i had to start over because i couldn't figure out what was what is that funny that is sometime how life is but anysew I will be back to normal this week I hope and sewing on to new projects and new post.

PS: Whether my sewing project is coming out good, bad, or indifferent I do feel good posting about It. I don't get many people reading but it still makes me feel good its like therapy for sewing. And reading other blogs out there keeps me sewing.I did read Victoria's blog http://tenthousandsewinghours.blogspot.com/ about 5 habits of successful people http://www.lifeoptimizer.org/2011/02/10/winning-habits-of-successful-people/ and i thought i do want to be successful in sewing not neccessarly to make it a business like my grandmother, aunt and cousin did but i really do like to sew and would like to be successful at it. So I am putting these habits to the test and applying them to my sewing habits. HAPPY SEWING TO ALL GOD BLESS.

pinning the shoulders seams together

2nd project after finish robe

1st project after robe blue material i will distress after i make the skirt

pinning the shoulder of the shawl collar
Oh my gosh. this weekend was hard. It stormed for 20-30 minutes sat evening  and then the power went out we were not restored power until monday at 1:00 am. It was hot hot hot and I had just finished filling my freezer I must have spent $30-$40 on ice  to save the food what an ordeal. All is good food was saved and we all lived without tv, cable, internet, or computer games and i still have a piece of my sanity from the kids not having nothing to do. Even though i was out of power for day and half closer to 2 days I still count it good compared to all natural disasters that have happend around the world. Ok i am including pictures of my project i am working on now and 2 projects i will be working on all for my daughter. First two are the shawl collars that i am trying to put together and the other is a blue jean skirt that i will distress for my daughter and a cute plaid dress. I really like the plaid dress i am thinking of doing it in another color plaid the brown might be dark or heavy for summer i will see. My thought for today is no matter how bad you think things are think about people who have it worse.I hope to finish this robe by friday how can somehting so simple be so hard to finish but i will i am excited to get to the skirt. have a good day thinking and dreaming of fabric.

knitting lesson one 06/12/11

my messy sewing room i love it
Let me start off by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASMINE my daughter turns 14 today. I can remember her taking her first steps and now she wants to wear makeup.Well I am showing my knitting project. I bought this little pamplet book and it has stages to teach you how to knit and project to go along so my first project of course is a scarf. I found the yarn at walmart and thought this would be good. It is very bulky but i love it and it is coming along good. I will knit on my lunch at work and when i am winding down for bed at night. I would love to knit a nice summer sweater by the end of july and maybe 3 winter sweaters by end of september. I should be finished with this scarf by thursday thats when my oldest returns home with company. Life is going to be very different after thursday i will have a house with 3 young adults my 2 and my son friend and then 1 teenager my daughter. This will be a great time to sew and knit. I have a tiny sewing room and i do mean tiny take a look at the pictures but i am happy with that. 2years ago i didnt have a sewing room so i am making progress. The sticth i am learning first is the knit stitch which makes a garter stitch when every row is done in a knit stitch. I probably will do a purl stitch in the middle just to mix thing up and then finish with the knit stitch. I am not doing the exact pattern as book say but i like to mix things up as you can see in the robe. Have a blessed Sunday and enjoy your day. It will be hot in atl.

trying to finish up 06/12/11

front and front facing

front and front facing
I have finally put the interfacing on the collar of the robe and traced the darts. I traced the darts with a dissappearing pen but i didnt care for that method it tore the paper and  couldnt get a great exact line, so I will be buying tracing paper and wheel this week. I thought I had both but I couldnt find. I am posting picture ofthe  fabric it really is a nice batik  I am using.I original bought this fabric to make pajama pants when we were in chicago for the boys  but that never happened so I thought why dont i make a robe out of it for Jasmine with her pajamas I ran out of fabric and had to use a different fabric.I didnt want to waste fabric so I tried to match it with another contrasting color. It will only be worn in the house and she needs a robe.  The blue will also be the sleeves and belt. I hope to be finished with this no later than tuesday it really dont take long to sew just have to find the time.Happy sewing and until next time.
